17-year-old Jordan Davis was murdered at a gas station in Jacksonville, Florida.

Turn your radio ALL THE WAY UP today at 5pm in honor of Jordan Davis, the slain 17-year-old who was killed in Florida over the volume of his car speakers.

The incident occurred last Friday, as Jordan and three of his friends pulled into a gas station in Jacksonville, Florida after finishing up their Black Friday shopping. That's where they met Michael Dunn, a 45-year-old man who approached the teens to ask them to turn their music down. Words were exchanged before Michael used the gun that he stored in his glove compartment to fire eight or nine shots at the teens, fatally striking Jordan twice.

In honor of Jordan's life, a national movement has started online asking people to blast their radios today at 5pm. Supporters have been spreading the word about the movement via Twitter.

Jordan will be laid to rest tomorrow in Georgia.
