So back in May of 2012, this homeless guy, whose name is Ronald Poppo, was chilling near a Miami road when he encountered this guy:
His name is Rudy Eugene and according to numerous reports, he was high on bath salts. And for whatever reason he decided to eat Poppo’s face. Gross. Police shot him to death, rescued Poppo, and discovered that his face looked like this…
Super sad. But Poppo’s doctors didn’t give up. They nursed the man back to good health and reconstructed what was left of his face. A few months ago, we showed you what that recovery looked like:
It could only go up from here…and it did. Now, check out how well Poppo has healed!

And even playing the guitar for his nurse lady friends…
Now THAT’S a comeback story! We’re super happy about Poppo’s amazing recovery.
