A helpless 7 week old baby was brutally killed by his mother after she left him under scalding hot tap water to “stop him from crying.”

“Emilio Jesus Bautista has been in critical condition since April 16, when his mother Chekayla Ariel Dampier, of Port Richey, Florida, allegedlt flushed the boy under the water because he would not stop crying.
Dampier has been held on 150,000 bail for aggravated child abuse with great bodily harm, but officials have not announced if her charge will be upgraded following the child death, according to Bay News 9.
Baby Emilio suffered extensive burns to his head, chest and arms, as well as second-degree burns to his eyes and ears”
Chekayla originally tried to place the blame on other family members in the house but she eventually confessed to deputies.
This is one of the most tragic abusive stories we’ve heard. Hopefully the right actions are taken.
