The YOLO phenomenon has gone from fun to annoying to tragic in less than a year. A group of Ontario men died in a car crash last week after one tweeted, "Drunk af going 120 #FuckIt YOLO."

According to authorities, the driver, 21-year-old Ervin McKinness, ran a red light and then lost control of the vehicle, causing it to flip, after which it landed in the backyard of a home.

The other victims included 23-year old Marquell Bogan, 23-year old JaJuan Bennett, 20-year-old Dylan George, and 21-year-old Jonathan Watson.

Right before the crash, aspiring rapper McKinness tweeted: "Drunk af going 120 drifting corners  YOLO."

The brutality of someone tweeting that just before his death is too much to handle. We need to put a stop to drunk driving once and for all.
