An effigy of President Barack Obama with the sign that reads "Pray 4 Assassin" was placed on the doorstep of an Alabama resident this week, with very few complaints coming from neighbors of the horrific sight.
According to Matt Elofsen of the Dothan Eagle, the effigy was spotted by photographer Max Oden, who took pictures of it, leading to the resident taking it down.
On the way back to his car, a fellow neighbor confronted Oden and struck his car window before he called the Sheriff's office.
The Sheriff's office contacted the Secret Service of Southern Alabama, putting the case under investigation.
Agent Clayton Slay told the Eagle:
"Honestly, until something is thoroughly investigated you don't know the intent. We try to determine if there is a violation of the law, and even if it's not we still have to look at it just to see if there's an intent there."
The re-election of Barack Obama has caused an uproar of racist tweets online, and now this Obama effigy is only adding to the madness.
A California woman whose Facebook post expressing a desire to see Obama assassinated went viral told a local news crew she wouldn't "care one bit" if it actually happened.
Hopefully America can get used to the fact that Barack isn't going anywhere!
