Listen up, because these kids have something to sing about.

Students at Bronx-area PS 140 performed a touching rendition of Michael Jackson’s “They Don’t Care About Us” in protest of rampant gun violence.

Opening with a clip of Martin Luther King Jr.’s legendary “I Have A Dream” speech, the kids appeal to King for guidance, with lyrics like “somethings in life we shouldn’t have to see/If Martin Luther was living he wouldn’t let this be!

Covering everything from Trayvon Martin to Sandy Hook, the kids ask, “tell me why don’t you value my life?”

And while their dance moves are absolutely adorable, the message is as real as it gets.

We applaud PS 140 for their bravery and creativity as they unapologetically demand answers to the problems in society.

Talk about inspiration!
