Singer Robin Thicke, 34, was arrested in Manhattan for marijuana possession, the Daily News has learned.
Thicke was being processed Friday afternoon and is expected to receive a desk appearance ticket.
According to the NY Daily News, Thicke was arrested at 12:25 p.m. by patrol officers who saw him smoking a joint while sitting in a Cadillac Escalade near 3rd Ave. and E. 21st St.
A police source said that:
“He wasn’t driving, he was sitting in the car. He was arrested and a small amount of marijuana was recovered on him.”
Thicke was in the Escalade with another person, the source said, but they were not arrested.
The award-winning R&B crooner’s fifth studio album, Love After War was released in December.
