Supporters of Ma’lik Richmond and Trenton Mays are making it difficult for the victim of the Steubenville rape case to move on.

The 16-year-old girl is now reportedly receiving death threats. The threats come a day after Richmond, 16, and Mays, 17, were found guilty of sexually assaulting her.
Police say two 16-year-old girls were arrested and charged with threatening the girl. One of the suspected girls was arrested and the other turned herself in. The girls contacted the victim via Twitter.
In a tweet to the victim, Police say one of the teens wrote, “you ripped my family apart, you made my cousin cry, so when I see you (expletive), it’s gone be a homicide.”
According to the Steubenville sheriff, police are now investigating death threats being made against the girl.

Police are also investigating if at least one of the threats was made by somebody with a connection to Richmond.
