Have you ever wondered what it would be like for your favorite Disney characters to don high fashion clothing? No? Neither did we. But apparently someone at Barneys New York thought it would be pretty cool and based on the preview of the finished product, we have to agree!
In a campaign called "Electric Holiday," set to begin on November 14th, Barneys Madison Avenue flagship store will unveil a Disney-themed display.
The campaign will have a three-dimensional electric light show, a short animated film playing in its window that will turn your favorite Disney characters into runway supermodels, and an original soundtrack furnished by Oscar-winner Michael Giacchino.
So far we have pictures of Daisy Duck in Dolce & Gabbana, Minnie Mouse in Lanvin and Goofy in Balmain, however we are looking forward to Cruella by Rick Owens, Princess Tiana by Proenza Schouler and Snow White by Peter Copping for Nina Ricci. Rest assured; once all the images get released, we will have them right here for your viewing pleasure.
In the meantime, check out the gallery above for some of the sketches, toys and finished products from Barney's upcoming Electric Holiday.
