Red carpet queen Kerry Washington was in North Hollywood, California, yesterday in a simple but figure-flattering black Altuzarra Spring 2012 dress.
The lead star for ABC’s new show Scandal, which premieres tomorrow, came out to support her show’s creator Shonda Grimes, who is also at the helm of hit shows Grey’s Anatomy and The Practice for ABC.

The event was held at The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Presents ‘Welcome To ShondaLand: An Evening With Shonda Rhimes & Friends’ at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre.

Washington was low-key but still was a stunner in her black dress with a padded v-neck and white panels on the skirt, and accessorized with a gunmetal-grey clutch and white Reed Krakoff pumps to match the white panels.
