Nike is officially on the wedge sneaker bandwagon, and we aren’t a smidgen mad at it.
In fact, wedge sneakers are one of the most refreshing trends on the scene currently; they serve as a reminder that a boost of height doesn’t have to come at the expense of comfort.

Nike Sportwear’s latest collaborative release with Liberty features the Dunk Sky High, one of the wedge sneakers that is definitely on our list of must haves for the summer.
If the wedge heel alone is not enough reason to love the Sky Highs, some additional features include a gum outsole and contrasting black stitch-down detail on the off-white midsole.

While the focus of the line has primarily been on the reworked red and white sneaker combo with a punchy blend of paisley, the rest of the designs in the collaborative line are also something worth talking about.
In addition to the Nike Sky High dunks, the Hyperclave and Blazer Mids also got a chic little paisley makeover. The classic running shoes are featured in a multitude of color ways including blue, yellow and purple paisley.
The company’s press release suggests that the collaborative aim was to produce a modern twist on a product for women who are currently rocking vintage running footwear styles in everyday outfits.
