Last night kicked off the official taping of BET’s Rip The Runway in New York City, and as per usual, the event brought out a star-studded lineup of celebrities, models and designers that cater to the urban market.

Hosted by the always-flawless Kelly Rowland, who is having the best year ever, alongside the dapper Boris Kudjoe, Rip The Runway brought out not only a plethora of designers, but also some of hip-hop’s biggest acts.
The stage was lit up with performances by Trinidad Jame$, Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Jaden Smith and also designs from some of those same celebrities. Co-host of the night, Boris, showed off his custom menswear fashion line Alfa with his own outfit selections throughout the night, while others like Jaden Smith took a more creative approach. Jaden performed “MSFTS Anthem” while he showcased his line of urban wear of the same name and even brought out a surprise guest that we’ll keep a secret for now.

Jaden arrived on the red carpet with his proud mom. Also on the red carpet were the likes of Teyana Taylor, Meek Mill and Karrueche Tran, to name a few.
