Sen. Byrd of West Virginia was the only true congressman who no only stood against the war, but called out all the bull**it in the resolution that negates anyone’s ‘if i knew then what i know now’ line. They knew that they were signing the war over, and there was nothing in it that required Bush to seek final approval down the line.
