It’s been a crazy week in the political arena, from Fox News pumping money into the GOP to Sarah Palin co-signing Dr. Laura and her ni**er rant and now we’re hearing a church in Gainesville, Fla is planning on burning copies of the Quran. This is this week’s Political FAILS of the week.
So Fox News and the Wall Street Journal parent company News Corp donated $1 million to the Republican Governors Association in June.
Fox News and News Corp Chairman, made the $1 million donation on June 24. How can you be a ‘Fair and Balanced’ brand and you pump $1 million into the GOP? So Fox News just affirmed that their “Fair and Balanced” motto is a bunch of bullsh*t not that we haven’t known that already. Fox News FAIL.

On to the next one, Sarah Palin just had to throw her two cents into the Dr. Laura debacle, she told the ni**er rant Dr. to ‘don’t retreat…reload!’ via her twitter. Take a look at the tweet Sarah sent out;
Seems Palin just doesn’t get it, no one told Dr. Laura to say what he said and no one ceased her 1st amendment right, bottom line you say dumb sh*t and people will call you out on it. FAIL’s all around on this one, Palin and Dr. Laura.

This final FAIL is just indicative of what has been going on for the last couple months around the country and an overall tone of Islamophobia. A church in Gainesville, Fla is planning to burn numerous copies of the Quran on September 11. Did we fall asleep and wake up in 1930’s Germany? What is going on here? Not to single out the South, but are we surprised that a southern church is doing this?
Leaders of the Dove World Outreach Center say ‘Islam is of the Devil’ and plan to burn copies of the Islamic holy book on the anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. They list on their site the 10 reasons to burn the Quran, including ‘Islamic Law is totalitarian in nature,’ Islamic teaching contains ‘irrational fear and loathing of the West’ and that the Quran teaches that Jesus ‘was NOT the Son of God.’ FAIL all around on this one.
