After a guest appearance on an episode of ‘Sesame Street,’ her performance was cut from the episode because her ‘Hot N Cold’ duet with Elmo was deemed too innappropriate for children. ‘In the wake of Elmo’s terrible betrayal, The Simpsons puppets wish to announce they stand felt-shoulder-to-shoulder with Katy Perry,’ executive producer Al Jean said in a statement to EW.com. Now she’s guest starring on The Simpsons, and you already know a little cleavage is the last thing that would get her cut from the show.
In the episode, Katy will play the role of Moe’s (the bartender) girlfriend. The episode will have a special Christmas theme, and will be titled ‘The Fight Before Christmas.’ It is scheduled to air on FOX, December 5th.
Katy will also appear as herself in a live-action segment that will feature all the characters in The Simpsons as puppets.
