It’s been quite some time since the revival of the Maybach, and they do not seem to be slowing down. This past spring, an announcement was made of a partnership between Xenatec and Maybach, to convert their four-door limousine into a two-door luxury coupe.
To execute this concept, Xenatec hired Fredrink Burchhardt, the same designer responsible for the Maybach Exelero coupe. The Xenatec Maybach 57 S Coupe includes a chopped down roof, two doors instead of four, modified bodywork, raked windshields, and a newly modified interior. Some things remained the same, such as the 612-horsepower twin-turbo V12.
Only 100 will be made, at the cost of 675,000 euros. They are built to order, and buyers can specify having a glass roof, 20 or 21 inch wheels, and armor plating.
