Reese Witherspoon and Rob Pattinson are ready for the release of their new movie “Water For Elephants.” Pattinson plays Jacob Jankowski, a kid on his way to becoming vet when his parents die, right before he takes his final college exam. With nothing left, Jacob leaves his small town only to join a traveling circus. Through an elephant named Rosie, he connects with Marlena (Reese Witherspoon) and that is when the story begins.
Animals play a big part in this film and have consistently played huge roles in Hollywood films.

In fact, Robert Pattinson decided to do this film because of the elephant even before he read the script. The “Twilight” star revealed, “If there was any one moment, I think when we first saw the whole pack of elephants in the herd together and Gary, Tai’s trainer said, ‘Sit,’ like literally as if you were talking to a dog and it sat down in exactly the same way a dog would. I mean, it’s totally incomprehensible when you see it and I basically decided to do the movie at that point. I hadn’t read the script or anything. Yeah, it’s very powerful thinking that you can have a relationship with these huge beasts.”

So in honor of Robert and Reese’s powerful relationship with this king size animal, we decided to highlight some of Hollywood’s biggest animal characters. Let’s just call this Hollywood’s Hip-Pop Animal House!
