With the NBA Playoffs happening right now, all things NBA are getting people all riled up.  An artist by the name of NFN Kalyan has probably realized this and used LeBron James as his first subject for a series of glass sculptures that will be released soon.

The sculptures consist of seven sheets of glass lined up behind one another to create a third image of LeBron’s head. Etched from sapphire glass and steel with a walnut wooden base to house the LED lighting, the entire piece took nearly five months to make.

NFN Kaylan is not the first to use NBA players as their muses. Over the past few years there has been NBA art from all types of place,s by some very well known artist and companies.

Here are a few examples of art inspired by your favorite players in the NBA.
