With summer on the horizon, it’s time for the Hollywood blockbusters to start being released by the boatload. Today, “Thor” is being released in 3D to the masses and comic book fans all over the world are buying their tickets in anticipation of this summer’s fist 3D multi-million dollar blockbuster.
Stussy is capitalizing on the fanfare of it all and has released a collection consisting of two series of limited edition t-shirts with Marvel Comics. Series One included nine designs featuring some of Marvel’s most iconic superheroes mixed with Stussy’s iconic graphic language. Series Two, released today, features nine guest artists interpreting their favorite characters from the Marvel Universe.
The artist roster includes James Jarvis (Thing), David Shrigley (Incredible Hulk), Todd James (She-Hulk), Noah Butkus (Dr. Strange), Will Sweeney (Eternity), John K. (Crystal & Johnny Storm), Bill Plympton (Mystique), Gary Panter (Thor) and Mr. Cartoon (Spider-Man). The shirts are available now at Stussy stores worldwide.
