Ryan Dunn’s best friend and fellow “Jackass” cast member, Bam Margera, broke down in tears after visiting the crash site of his friend who died in a car accident taking his life and another friend’s, Zach Hartwell.

STORY: Ryan Dunn Of “Jackass” Dies Suddenly

As Reported By Fox 29 News:

West Chester’s Bam Margera talks only to Fox 29 about the loss of his best friend, “Jackass” co-star Ryan Dunn.

“I’ve never lost anybody that I care about, he’s my best friend,” Margera said as he broke down on camera.

Dunn and another friend, Zach Hartwell, died in a car crash on Monday morning.

The Margera family has been open about their affection for Dunn and said he was considered a family member.

Bam’s parents spoke at length on Monday with Fox 29’s Lena Lewis about Dunn.

The coroner’s report is out and it says Dunn and Hartwell died from the impact and resulting fire of the crash in West Goshen Township early yesterday morning.

Police have done an accident reconstruction and say Dunn’s Porsche might have been traveling as fast as 130 miles per hour when it jumped a guardrail, flew into a ravine, and burst into flames.

Margera visited the crash site and spoke only to Fox 29.

“I was in Arizona with best friends having the best time with friends,” Margera said.

“He was the happiest person, the smartest guy with so much talent.”

Margera said on Sunday night he started to rip out parts of a van for no apparent reason. It turned out that incident happened at the same time Dunn died in a crash.

“It is not right,” Margera told us as he was in tears.

“It was the worst phone call I got in my life,” Margera said.
