Hedi Slimane, known best for his work with fashion house Christian Dior’s Dior Homme collection and for his photographic talents, has shared an intimate photography session that he had with Amy Winehouse before her untimely passing last weekend.
Hedi Slimane, who also did the cover photography for Lady Gaga’s The Fame Monster album, captured Amy in a soft and sensitive light, as opposed to the wild child image that she is known for.
Amy will always be remembered for her wild personality and booming voice. However, it was refreshing to see her in a photoshoot that captured Amy without all of the negative media attention that she has garnered over the years.
Slimane, who has become just as well known for his fashion and music inspired photography, released the pictures online. These images are a great way to remember Ms. Winehouse.
