Next to red, gold and blue have been the break out colors for women this autumn.
Last night at the 2011 L’Oreal Paris Legends Gala to Benefit Ovarian Cancer Research Fund, held at the Museum of Natural History in NYC, actresses Kerry Washington and Taraji P. Henson stepped out in breathtaking gold and blue.

Kerry wore a shimmering satin floor length gold gown which rendered her bold and statuesque. The cut of the gown was a departure of sorts for the actress, whom we’re used to seeing in form fitting pieces. She accessorized her look with a black clutch, Veronica Lake inspired waves in her hair and layered gold necklaces.
Taraji’s blue cocktail dress was playful, bright and accentuated her personality, which read playful on the red carpet.
