MUSIC: Amy Winehouse & Nas “Like Smoke”
Longtime Amy Winehouse producer Salaam Remi was in NYC to let the press hear the posthumous Amy Winehouse CD. During the listening, Remi dropped a little tidbit that’s actually pretty stunning. He said that Amy planned to form a supergroup with Roots’ drummer Questlove and saxophone player Soweto Kinch.

Even though we will never get the chance to see that supergroup be formed, we will, get to hear a collaboration from the two.
Questlove is featured on “Halftime,” a track that appears on her Lioness: Hidden Treasures album, which drops on December 6th.
Amy Winehouse died over the summer at the age of 27 due from alcohol poisoning. She is greatly missed in the music world and we can’t wait for the new Amy CD.
