Well, hip-hop’s obsession with Daimler’s Maybach Benz will shortly have to end, because they’re discontinuing the super expensive luxury vehicle in 2013.
If you haven’t noticed rap’s constant references to Maybachs or “big body” Benz’s well, you’ve probably been living under a rock.
Miami rapper Rick Ross even named his music label after Daimler’s premiere vehicle. Not to mention his hit songs, “Maybach Music” and “Maybach Music 2.”

Rick isn’t the only rapper who has adopted the Maybach lifestyle, Jay-Z and Kanye West chopped up the $350,000 Benz for their Watch The Throne banger “Otis.”
