Mayhem erupted at the Mall of America tonight after reports of Drake and Lil Wayne shopping there hit Twitter.
Police made nine arrests around 4:20pm after different groups of fights broke out among local youths. Witnesses say the brawl started after reports that rappers Lil Wayne and Drake were visiting the Mall. Wayne was last seen in Los Angeles at the Lakers and Bulls Game. The violence was all caught on tape.

Police believe as many as 200 people were involved the fights. Many profanity-laced videos have been uploaded to YouTube, showing fights and rage before police broke it up.

Officials say approximately 10 other fights broke out throughout the mall following the initial incident. Police, who say they have never seen anything like this before, say it took a couple of hours to get the situation under control.
At one point they were trying to force the crowd out the doors on the first floor, hoping to evacuate some of those causing the trouble and get the volume of people in the mall under control.
