High-end audio company Bose launched the Bose VideoWave Home Theater, a super high-end HDTV system. The VideoWave is Bose’s first foray into video and comes complete with a 46″ Full HD LCD-based HDTV with a 1920×1080 resolution.

The system boasts cinematic sound without the bulk associated with traditional home theatre systems. It has six woofers provides an impressive base response, while the company’s WaveGuide technology ensures an even audio spread.

Bose claims that the unit can be installed anywhere, and that the ADAPTiQ room calibration technology will adjust itself accordingly, accommodating your room shape and size.

Best of all is the “click pad” remote control.  Designed to work in conjunction with an on-screen display, the control pad features a bare minimum of buttons. Additional devices connected to the VideoWave can be controlled via the same interface, although so far there isn’t a full list of compatible machines aside from the iPod.

The machine costs $5,349 for the TV when it launches–although it does include installation!
