The Occupy Wall Street Movement has made its way to Switzerland where protestors are not allowing the winter to hold them back!

According to NDTV, the occupiers are camping out in igloos in Davos, Switzerland where the World Economic Forum’s annual gathering will be held Wednesday through Sunday.

The event will have over 2,500 participants from over 100 countries. Many of the participants are extremely wealthy businessmen and politicians who will attend this event in hopes of achieving major business deals as well as finding solutions to economic turmoil and debt crises of many nations around the world.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will launch the event with a keynote speech tomorrow.

The event is in a rather tough climate high in the Swiss Alps so the number of occupiers are limited. However Occupy organizer David Roth said: “We’ll make small actions in the village, we’re going to disturb things a little bit.”

It takes about 5 hours for 4 people to build one igloo. This is certainly a strenuous effort by this group of occupiers. Our support is with them!
