Remember that song “If I had a million dollars”? Well start thinking about it again, because if you had a million dollars would you buy President Obama’s old car?

President Obama’s old car is up for sale on Ebay for a whopping one million bucks.

Tim O’Brien, the owner of the 2005 Chrysler 300C once leased by now-President Obama, is trying to sell the car for the whopping seven-figure sum, MSNBC reports.

The digital auction, which is being managed by seasoned eBay car seller Lisa Czibor, claims to have documentation proving that Obama once leased the car.

Judging by the 20 photos posted with the ad, both Obama and O’Brien took good care of the sedan.

The Blue Book value for the 2005 Chrysler — which is in excellent condition and has 20,800 miles on it — amounts to $16,683 in New York City market. That’s certainly a far cry from the cool million O’Brien and Czibor are seeking.

But they’re hoping Obama’s star power can dramatically lift the car’s value.

“Please understand that the $1 million dollar starting price is not a joke,” Czibor writes in the ad, noting that other cars once driven by superstar politicians have sold recently for figures running into the millions.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad’s 1977 Peugot, for example, fetched $2.5 million last year at an auction, according to the U.K. Telegraph.

In that case, however, the profit from the sale went to build low-income housing to fulfill one of Ahmadinejad’s campaign promise to eliminate homelessness.

“If you win this auction, what you do with the Obama car after it is paid for is up to you,” Czibor continues. “You can put it in a museum, proudly drive it, or, you can use it as part of a Republican publicity stunt during the 2012 campaign.”

Expectedly, by Friday evening, there were no takers on eBay with five days remaining on the auction.
