February 12, 2012 should be honorably marked as the day of Adele.

Less than an hour after Adele swept the Grammys last night, collecting six awards, Vogue released their March cover featuring the night’s big winner, and we are sure Karl Lagerfeld was somewhere eating his words.

Not only did the issue feature Adele looking modelesque on the cover, but it was also accompanied by a photo spread featuring Adele in the most glamorous light we have ever seen her in. The editorial shoot highlighted the London native’s most gorgeous feature aside from her voice, her eyes.

A series of close ups show Adele’s gorgeous facial features while the more high fashion shoots feature Adele reclined in high fashion clothing that is a far cry from her traditional black wardrobe, but that isn’t the only thing Adele is changing, she is vowing to never write a sad song again.

“I am never writing a breakup record again, by the way,” she tells Vogue. “I’m done with being a bitter witch.”

But she also opens up about the man, 10 years her senior, who broke her heart and inspired her to write “21”

“You know, he was amazing,” Adele admits in Vogue. “He was great. But it was never going to work. And for ages I was like, As if he deserves any fucking kudos for inspiring my record. But now, after some time, it only seems right that the person who so far has had the biggest impact on me-has now changed my life for fucking ever with this album-deserves a little credit. I can do things that I never dreamed I’d be able to do. If I hadn’t met him, I think I’d still be that little girl I was when I was eighteen. And the best thing is, I now know what I want for myself and from someone else. I didn’t know what I wanted before.”

It shows immeasurable growth for Adele to drop kind words about a man who inspired such painful lyrics, but we are sure Adele’s ex is somewhere licking his wounds after watching the Grammys last night.
