You can now add Elton John to that list! He will be releasing a movie biography of himself and is looking for just the right person to play “Benny and the Jets” singer himself.
Word on the street is that entertainment extraordinaire Justin Timberlake is Elton’s top pick and as soon as he gets the final approval from the director, then it is on and poppin’!

It’s no secret that JT would be an excellent contender for the role, as he has time and time again proven his well-rounded talents.
His portrayal of characters in major on-screen films and now more regularly SNL, have shown his versatility and depth of talent.
Timberlake first caught Elton and his partner David Furnish‘s eye in 2001 after he did a spot on impression of Elton on SNL in a music video for “This Train Don’t Stop Here Anymore.”
Elton told E! Online:
“It’s going to be a surreal look at my life, and not just a factual look at my life, more in the manner of a ‘Moulin Rouge!'” John said in January. “I just don’t want it to be a normal biopic because my life hasn’t been like that. And it only goes up to when I go into rehab in 1990. It starts with me going into rehab and ends when I come out.”
Hopefully JT can land the part, but regardless of who plays the role a movie biography of Elton John is going to be nothing short of fabulous!
