Santigold is the master of disguise for her debut studio album cover.
The Roc Nation signee takes fans behind the scenes for a first hand look at what it takes to put together a ‘visual tattoo’ of an artist’s musical timeline.
Santigold says she came up with the concept of three different personas for the cover and asked Alexander Wang to fashion her a custom ‘bond girl’ one piece for her ‘lady gaga-esque’ character.
And oh yeah, that huge “Portrait of an Officer” regal painting of Santigold in the background – custom piece for the new-wave artist as well.
Gals can enjoy the fashion, and guys can admire the frame. Who knew Santigold was packing like that?!
Master of My Make-Believe, Santigold’s second studio album, is slated for a May 1st release.
