Is Bobbi Kristina getting too much shine in the wake of her mother’s death?

DETAILS: Whitney Houston’s Will: Bobbi Kristina Gets It ALL

That’s what some people close to Bobbi are saying and now they’re urging her to step out of the limelight. As the 19-year-old prepares for her first televised interview this weekend with Oprah, some family members have expressed concerns, not wanting her to go through with the interview.

“There are people who just want her to stay out of the limelight for a while,” says the friend. “This is a little girl who just needs some time.”

“There is still no resolution and there has been nothing concrete on the cause of [Whitney’s] death, and they were hoping for that,” a Houston family friend tells PEOPLE. “There were members of the family who weren’t keen on [the interview] going down at this time.”

Bobbi has been spending some time with her Uncle Gary and his wife, Pat. “She’s so very young and impressionable,” says the source. “She has to start finding herself as a woman on her own as opposed to defining herself as Whitney’s daughter and Whitney’s support. It’s kind of interesting to see what’s going to happen to her from here on in.”

As far as the limelight, it appears that Bobbi wants to follow in the footsteps of her mother. Whitney told GlobalGrind that Bobbi Kristina has been taking singing and acting lessons.
