STORY: We Pray! 9-Year-Old Arkansas Girl Shoots Her Little Brother

Billy, in a 43-second video, tells President Obama that he wants to be a baker and asks for the opportunity to go to college.

According to Fox News, Billy who has a severe case of autism, applied to a range of colleges in Florida. Many of the college have rejected Billy citing that they do not have a program appropriate for him.

The colleges that do have programs, only have it for mildly autistic students, as explained by Billy’s mother Edith:

“When you look online… it looks like, yes, there are programs for these students. But what universities actually have are programs for extremely rare, high-functioning, savant-like autistic children. There’s nothing for kids who have splintered skills – for those who are excellent with computers, but may need a subject like geography broken down for them.”

Billy is a straight A student in high school, his mother continued saying:

“They tell me there’s no place for him. He goes to school every day, he gets A’s in a specialized curriculum, but he’s being denied a post-secondary experience. There’s a complete generation of these kids who are aging out of school, who will have nothing to do. If colleges had a program for autism that addresses specific skills for these kids, there would be people at the door waiting.”

This is a truly touching appeal.

We pray that Billy will get what he wants in life.Take a look at the accompanying video to listen to Billy Pagoni’s appeal to the President.
