Through email correspondence, Loop 21 journalist Wesley Lowery was able to get in contact with George Zimmerman, who is currently in hiding as the case of Trayvon Martin continues to implode.
Lowery researched and tracked down the appropriate domain address for the website Zimmerman set up a few days ago and was able to get into contact with the 28-year-old neighborhood watch captain.
STORY: Zimmerman’s Lawyer: “We Can’t Find George”
According to Lowery:
The first step was running a “Who is” search using registry.com. That search revealed that the website had been registered using popular domain host GoDaddy.com.
A similar “Who is” search showed that the domain registration was to a private email address, however a third party email address was listed in order to reach the domain owner.
A spokesperson for GoDaddy declined to comment on the site or who the domain is registered to, referring inquires to the information page for Domains by Proxy, a third party privacy organization (owned by Go Daddy founder Bob Parsons) that allows domain owners to remain anonymous by registering sites in the company’s name.

Do you have anything to prove that the site is in fact run by you? Is your legal representation willing to issue a statement confirming the authenticity? If George Zimmerman has in fact created a website, it’s major news. But, before reporting it, I’ll need absolute confirmation of the authenticity.
What can you provide me to prove that this is, in fact, run by George Zimmerman?

That was the last message between Lowery and Zimmerman. It looks as though Zimmerman was considering what his lawyers confirmed earlier in a press conference; George did speak with Hannity.
