The 74-year-old Silence Of The Lambs actor is taking on the role of Alfred Hitchcock, famous director known for movies like The Birds and Psycho, in the new film Hitchcock.
The movie was originally called Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, but it was shortened to Hitchcock. The movie will tell the story of “how at the height of his game as a director, decided to make a “lowly” horror movie. No studio wanted to touch it initially so Hitchcock scrounged for financing by himself.”
