Visit The RAI Theater:
A huge convention and exhibition center by day, the RAI is an enormous theater by night and at weekends. Musicals, operas, comedy nights, ballets and spectacular shows can all be enjoyed in this sizable hall. Not everyone loves the building, but it’s what’s inside that counts, after all. Right now you can enjoy the theater adaptation of the film Troy, but make sure that you are there at least 2 hours before the performance to secure a good spot. Visit The Artis Royal Zoo:
Set in a large park, the Artis Royal Zoo is the Netherlands’ oldest mainland zoo. Along with the usual stalwarts, including a baby elephant called Mumba, Artis has an ‘indoor rainforest’ full of nocturnal creatures and a 120-year-old aquarium. The Zoo just opened on April 1st for the Spring season and is open daily from 9am to 6pm, so whenever you are ready to relax and let your inner child enjoy the view, take a trip down to the Artis Royal Zoo.
