The pop star recently put out a video of her and a couple of friends singing and dancing along to Carly Rae Jepsen’s viral hit “Call Me Maybe.” Katy’s not the first to perform this song, however. The Roots drummer, Questlove, claims that we live in a “shuffle culture.” That “shuffle culture” is the premise behind his special concert he’s having today and tomorrow at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. The concert will mimic the way people listen to their music nowadays.
