It’s been a while since we’ve heard Kid Cudi rap.

The last time we’ve seen our favorite rager, he was rocking out with guitars on his latest album WZRD, the collabo project he recorded with producer Dot da Genius.

Well, he’s back to spitting.

Last night, Kid Cudi handed Complex a new gem called “Dennis, Hook Me Up With Some More Of That Whiskey!” And, good God, he’s rapping again.

Kid Cudi “The Ruler & The Killer”

Cudi sounds vintage; on the track he spits:

“See, I can never have a desk job. My work take a n*gga abroad. Meeting up late with porn broads. Relaxing because a n*gga hustle hard. Man, I got to take a load off. Meet a dime have her take her clothes off. Take a trip out to Doha, doing short films on a whim.”

The beat, which was done by Cudi himself, is standard Cudder: it’s a moody, somewhat rock-inspired, synth heavy beat that constantly changes throughout the song.

We like rock and roll-Cudi, but we can never tire of rap-Cudi, either.

Are you feeling the track?
