I don’t know about you, but I want to see the Osama Bin Laden death photo. It’s been over a year since an elite group of Navy SEALs put two in his dome and I think it’s time we see the graphic, gruesome photos.

We’ve seen the death photos of other diabolical bastards, so why can’t we see Bin Laden’s?

In the past year we witnessed a revolution in Libya, as 40-year leader Muammar Gaddafi’s bloody and bruised body was dragged through the streets of Tripoli with gun-toting rebels surrounding him.

When Saddam Hussein was captured, we all witnessed the video of him hanging. Even pictures of Adolf Hitler’s dead body are viewable, but why not Bin Laden?

Days after the news broke of Bin Laden’s death, the immediate response was an overwhelming desire to see the infamous death photos after it was revealed that a collection of pics actually existed.

Photos and video recordings of Bin Laden’s death are legally required to be disclosed and there are reportedly over 50 graphic photos of a deceased Bin Laden, which include gruesome pics of the bullet wound of his head.

It’s time for us to see the photos for a couple reasons. First, we have a right to see them, as the Freedom of Information Act has granted us that privilege. The FOIA allows for the full or partial disclosure of previously unreleased information and documents controlled by the United States government.

Now, the government will tell you that they abided by the FOIA when they released documents uncovered from Bin Laden’s compound, but that’s not good enough; we want the goods.

Second, it’s time for Obama to spike the football. Last year, when asked about releasing the photos, Obama told CBS news:

“We don’t need to spike the football and given the graphic nature of these photos it would create a national security risk.”

There is no national security risk Mr. President, according to you, we’ve been the safest under your command like never before and numerous threats have been thwarted under your watch, so it’s safe to let go of the death photos.

And finally, we’re Americans, we’re blood thirsty and we don’t believe anything if we can’t see it with our own two eyes; so seeing a dead Bin Laden is a must-have.

Hopefully, Obama will drop the photos close to the election to remind us of his orders.
