Singer, songwriter, actress, producer, director and all around extraordinaire Barbra Streisand is gearing up to release an all-new duets album.

And you won’t believe who she’s recruiting to hop on a few tracks with her!

With the help of her Sony Music label, Barbra is looking to collab with artists like Adele, Rihanna and even her Brooklyn buddy Jay-Z.

The line up is pretty out the box for the icon, but perhaps this whole ‘out with the old, in with the new’ approach might earn Ms. Streisand another number one album. According to Page Six

“Streisand has been approached by label execs to record an album of duets with young, hip artists, including Adele and Rihanna. Industry sources say the move would aim to [boost] Babs’ appeal with more youthful record buyers beyond core Streisand fans.”

Hey, it’s possible. After all, a duets album featuring younger talent helped Tony Bennett earn his first number one project after almost 63-years in the industry.

Who knows, maybe Jay and his fellow Brooklyn native Barbra could record a tribute track to their hometown borough, and RiRi could show the icon how to work her cake, cake, cake!

One thing’s for sure though, all three know how to make some damn good music! So perhaps we’re in for some classic tracks!
