Looks like we will have to wait a little while longer! The judge in the George Zimmerman case has stopped the bond hearing this morning and Zimmerman will have to remain in jail while he waits for a judge to decide whether or not he will be granted bond.

STORY: Back Again! Zimmerman Appears In Court For Second Bond Hearing

Judge Kenneth Lester said he would not immediately rule on whether to grant bond to Zimmerman. He did not indicate when he might make a decision, saying only that he needed time to weigh the evidence presented Friday.

Before the court went to recess, defense attorney Mark O’Mara told Judge Lester that the state’s second-degree murder charge is “improper and very weak,” and that his client has a “very strong argument of self defense.”

The state prosecutor replied:

“George Zimmerman was trying to act like police officer after profiling Trayvon Martin. But he’s not here to try case.”
