Welcome back to another edition of No Money Mondays! The beginning of the work week is always a struggle, but we found some cool things to do in San Francisco that will cost you no money at all! This should make your Monday a little more exciting. The Bay Area always offers fun activities that won’t require you to pull out your wallet.

Take a walk on the Golden Gate Bridge:

The iconic 1.7 mile bridge is open during the daylight hours to pedestrians and cyclists. The bridge also offers a gift shop, called the Roadhouse, which is also the visitors center. The south side of the bridge offers several acres of gardens that have some great views of the bridge and the city!

Financial Tip of the Day:

Use cash more often!

You should use cash for everyday things such as food, gas, and grocery shopping. Having cash helps you realize how much money you have and will help you not overspend by using your credit or debit card. When you realize you’re out of cash, you know you spent a lot of money and will help you reflect on what you purchased and be more careful on spending money on things you don’t need.
