Nipsey Hussle has come a long way since being one of XXL’s Freshmen in 2010, and now that Snoop Dogg is hanging up his rap jersey for a stop on the reggae roster, that leaves a vacancy on the rap front.

The cool Cali rapper got his start back when he dropped his first mixtape, Slauson Boy Volume 1 in 2008, the same name that would later serve as the title to his very own record label after he parted ways with his Epic music deal, and has grown exponentially since.
