I am grateful to God for the blessings this year, including getting to know Uncle Rush who has worked so hard in helping me achieve my dreams. I always have my late mother in my thoughts too, and I am so happy to have my family with me this Christmas. And even though in the heat of Shinyanga town, we do not celebrate a white Christmas like in New York, but the warmth, love and joy of Christmas is the same. Wishing the entire world peace and praying for a generally better year in 2010.
As the Christmas season descends on all corners of the world, my thoughts are with all those who this season who have no gifts to give each other just love, whose Christmas cheer is spoilt by disease, hunger pain and violence. May the joy of baby Jesus, comfort them!
