A volunteer for the Clay County Republican Party in Florida recenty called President Obama a “socialist” Muslim who will remove your Medicare during her pitch to voters.
According to the Huffington Post, a household caught a glimpse of the audio when it was recorded on their answering machine.

The volunteer states:
“Y’all sound like y’all are senior citizens, right? Yeah. You don’t want Obama. You really don’t want Obama. Because he’ll get rid of your Medicare. You might as well say goodbye to it. I don’t know if you’ve done any research on Obama or not, but he is a Muslim, um, he is, um, gotta socialistic view on the, ya know, economy, the government, the whole nine yards. If he had his way, we’d be a socialistic country.”
She then goes on to promote Dinesh D’Souza’s anti-Obama film and tells them:
“Pay attention to Fox News. If you can get out and watch that movie ‘2016’ do so.”

The head of Clay County GOP told the Florida Times-Union that it was not planned for the volunteer to say those things in the message:
“It was off-script completely. We have everything scripted. Those are clearly not the views of the Republican Party of Clay County or the Mitt Romney campaign.”
The audio was first given to Florida’s WMNF, an “independent, progressive news and public affairs” station.
