The celebration of the Barclays Center opening in Brooklyn isn’t over until Hova says it’s over!
To bless the stadium during its opening week, Jigga treated fans to an eight-concert run. During those 8 days, only 800 commemorative jerseys were produced, 100 for each of Jay’s 8 Barclays Center-opening concerts.
Hova got his hands on 10 of the $300 jerseys, has signed them and is auctioning them off to benefit the Shawn Carter Foundation, which aids students facing economic hardships.
Each set of 100 commemorative jerseys is identified by a dated Limited Edition 1/100 tag sewn onto the lower left front hem, above the adidas size tag on which Hova personally hand signed only 10 jerseys as follows: “Peace JAY Z.”
Ten “Carter 4” jerseys, including Jay-Z’s birth surname, will be auctioned via Auctions.NBA.com beginning Wednesday, Oct. 17, with the sale ending Oct. 31.
Get your stacks up and get those hands on a jersey for a good cause!
