Reggae music might not be flooding the radio airwaves like it used to, but that doesn’t mean there’s not good reggae music being made.

In fact, if you pay close enough attention, you’ll find some of the best reggae music of all time still regularly being created.

Last month, Nando Griffiths released his damn good debut album Yaad and Abroad on One Jam Music.

The album’s first single is “Ride All Night,” and it’s probably one of the most underappreciated club records out there.

Yaad and Abroad has other party-ready songs like “Ride All Night,” but it’s when the singer goes different routes when the album becomes really interesting. Examples included the slowed down and romantic “My Everything” and the heartbreaking ode to single mothers out there, “Get Better.” The best part of the record is its accessibility — non-reggae heads will be able to get into this album, as most of the songs contain pop ready, sing-along hooks. The album is dope.

If you want a little tester, check out the video from “My Everything,” and if you’re feeling it, go to iTunes and download.
