Damn! I hardly have time to design clothes, work in financial service, work for the President, help animals or really do shit else, because I’m constantly writing about stuff I see, that I feel I need to give my two cents on!
Most recently, I’ve seen people shitting on my friend of almost 15 years, Paige Butcher. I’ve read articles accusing her of being a gold digger and saying she used to date me (like that’s a bad thing).
To call Paige a gold digger is a lie. I remember Paige dating an especially broke and not-so-special African American male back in the day, but to her, “he was such a sweet spirited guy.” He was sweet, he was a dreamer, and he lived off her modeling career for years. She used to say “she believed in him.” I was married at this time but when she and I broke up from our personal relationships, we hung out a lot. I would call our outings dates, but she would say, “this is not a date, we are just friends.”
Anyhow, after “we got that straight,” we became great friends and I got to know her very well. She is independent and spends most of her time working. She also happens to spend her free time volunteering with senior citizens.
I’ve known Eddie Murphy for even longer than I’ve known Paige and in my opinion, he and Paige are a great couple. The bloggers need to leave dem de F alone!
