DETAILS: The History Of 50 Cent & Fat Joe’s Beef

In a recent interview with Carson Daly on his radio show, 50 spoke on hip-hop beef and how ironically he doesn’t think it sells records, explaining:

“Beef doesn’t actually sell records. It creates that barbershop/beauty salon conversation. Hit records sell records.”

50 then credits his good friend and mentor Eminem for helping his career, stating:

“My career wouldn’t even exist, I wouldn’t even be talking to you if it wasn’t for Em. It’s amazing that later in your life you could find someone that means so much to the comfort in your actual life. My grandparents were that for me before Em.”

In 2013, 50 plans to release his fifth studio album, Street King Immortal, on February 26.
