Even though you can go blind from the “Sight of the Sun,” you can’t go blind from listening to it!
Fun.is one of the many diverse artists who have lent their sound to the upcoming GIRLS- Volume 1 Soundtrack in the form of this dope piano-driven tune.
NEW MUSIC: Fun. “Some Nights!”
This song compliments GIRLS pretty well, what with all the drama-filled happenings that ordinarily take place for the characters of this HBO show, but “Sight of the Sun” was actually meant for the band’s debut Some Nights. The reason it didn’t make the cut was because of an uncleared sample in the chorus, which Nate Reuss decided to rewrite afterwards.
And as far as the rewrite, Nate said:
“I ended up rewriting the chorus and actually like it better than the sample now!”
